What does blogging do for you?

 I thought it were apt. if i answer my own QotD.

So, blogging for me is a few things. Mostly it's a connection to my friends. See, i have moved schools and countries, and left many people behind, as well as being left behind. Blogging is an informal letter, if people choose to read, they may know a little more about me, or the things i enjoy.
I love journal writing, and i'm not sure if i would ever be comfortable writing about truely personal things but it's nice to get your thoughts about different things out there, especially if there is no one around who wants to listen to you.
Also, in the Vox community, it's a fun way to maybe make friends whom have similar interests to you, or just to see what other people are up to, sometimes it's a good wake up from your own reality.
All that (mumble jumble) is what blogging does for me.
